School Based Dental Programs

-
Let’s Learn Clinics – Oral Health Services staff
attend these
kindergarten registration clinics
to offer dental screening and dental health information to parents and
caregivers.
- School Screenings – Screenings, and some
preventive services, are available at many schools in the area, in selected
grades. When children are screened at school, parents will be notified if
their child has an urgent dental condition or if preventive services are
recommended (examples:
fluoride,
sealants,
oral hygiene instruction).
