Food Safety Certification Courses Schedule

• Course is approximately 12 hours
• Food Safety Certification Courses can be scheduled upon request
• Cost of course is $85.00
• You will receive a resource manual/thermometer/certificate & card and chlorine test strips
• Discount is available for groups of 10 or more people from the same food premise or institution

In Good Hands – Online

• Recognized by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care – meets requirements for Safe Food Handling Certification
• Fee for the course is $25 for the online portion plus a $12 fee for the exam
• Exam will be written in person at your local Public Health Unit by appointment
• Upon completion of the exam a Food Safety Certificate will be granted by Public Health
• Covers the same material as the food safety course offered locally and provides an opportunity to work at your own pace
