FOOD ALERT: Certain salads may contain Listeria

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning the public, retailers, and food service establishments such as hotels, restaurants, hospitals and nursing homes, not to serve or consume various River Ranch Fresh Foods brand salads because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The smaller size retail salad packages have Best Before Dates between 12 MAY 2012 - 29 MAY 2012. The larger size packages sold to foodsevice have dates between 118 -125. The code date is typically in the upper right hand corner of the package.
