Environmental Public Health Week:  January 15 – 21, 2007

 

Public Health Inspectors at the Grey Bruce Health Unit are pleased to announce the launch of Environmental Public Health Week 2007. This initiative was established in 2003 with the aim of recognizing the work of environmental health professionals and to highlight issues related to Environmental Health. Grey Bruce Public Health Inspectors are members of the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors (CIPHI).

 

Public Health Inspectors provide services in food safety, drinking water quality, rental housing conditions, recreation water quality, personal service facilities, childcare and institutional facilities, air quality, health hazard investigations, outbreak management, injury prevention, sewage disposal assessment, land use management, infection control and communicable disease consultation.
