Grey Bruce Health Unit Settles With OPSEU Local 276

Owen Sound –The Grey Bruce Health Unit is pleased to announce a tentative contract agreement with Ontario Public Service Employees Union Local 276. The agreement affects approximately 47 staff including public health inspectors, parent support workers, dental educators, dental hygienists, environment inspectors, tobacco program staff, social marketers and others.

The contract agreement is tentative pending ratification by both the Board of Health and the union membership. The Board will meet Friday May 18, 2007. The union vote takes place Wednesday May 16, 2007.

Details of the tentative agreement will not be released.
