Walkerton District Secondary School Influenza Clinic

Three hundred and fifty-nine people received influenza vaccinations at a Public Health clinic at Walkerton District Secondary School in Walkerton, Thursday, November 15, 2007.  This compares with last year’s clinic when 390 people were immunized.

Additional walk-in influenza vaccination clinics are scheduled for next week at the Royal Canadian Legion, Owen Sound on Wednesday, November 21 and Chesley Community Centre, Chesley, Thursday November 22. Clinics are from 4-8 p.m. No appointments needed.

Additional walk-in clinics are scheduled across Grey and Bruce throughout November

(see attachment). Publicly funded influenza shots are also available by appointment at Public Health in Owen Sound and at the Plex in Port Elgin, call 519-376-9420, or at Public Health in Walkerton, call 519-881-1920.
