Grey Bruce Health Unit Moving

Thirty-five hundred boxes to be packed; the mover is scheduled for next week. Beginning Monday, August 25, 2008, the Grey Bruce Health Unit will be working out of the new building at 101 17^th Street East, Owen Sound. The Grey Bruce Health Unit building at 920 1^st Avenue West will close at the end of the business day Friday, August 22, 2008. Phone numbers, including emergency numbers remain the same.

Programs and services will continue to run as usual from the Walkerton location at the Bruce County Building, 30 Park Street, Walkerton.

An official opening and open house is scheduled for Friday, September 26, 2008. This will include media tours in the morning and a public open house from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. There will be special tours for invited guests from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. with an official ribbon cutting at 5:15 p.m., followed by a catered reception.
