Celebrating Youth! A forum in support of local teens
Residents of Meaford, The Blue Mountains and neighboring communities are invited to attend a forum in celebration of local teens, Thursday April 3, 2008, at Georgian Bay Secondary School. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. There is no admission to the forum hosted by Georgian Bay Secondary School and The Community for Youth Coalition.
The evening offers an opportunity to celebrate the talents and achievements of local youth. Participants will also hear how they can make a positive contribution to the lives of youth in their community. Keynote speaker, retired school principal David Huether, has been successful in motivating communities across the province to acknowledge that they can and do make a difference in the lives of their local youth. The discussion will introduce asset building techniques than can activate and motivate your community.
