Healthy Workplace Month: Take the Healthy Workplace Challenge

Canada’s Healthy Workplace Month, September 29 to Oct 26, 2008, is designed to introduce organizations to workplace health and to provide support for those organizations and businesses that are already promoting healthy workplaces.

Take the Healthy Workplace Challenge is the theme for 2008. Organizations can participate in four weeks of specially themed, on-line activities, based on the National Quality Institute’s healthy workplace elements. Register to participate at www.healthyworkplacemonth.ca.  

During the first three weeks, see how your organization's initiatives measure up to others across Canada. In Week Four, you are invited to complete a mini-assessment and share a story on how you are creating a healthier workplace. Canada’s Healthy Workplace Month certificates will be awarded to the winning workplaces. Canada’s Healthy Workplace Month is about celebrating employees, their successes and accomplishments.
