Black Creek Beach (Old Woman River) Safe for Bathing; Station Park Beach, Kincardine, Posted Unsafe
Water samples taken at Black Creek Beach (also known as Old Woman River), Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula, show results within acceptable levels according to Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care standards. The Grey Bruce Health Unit took samples on Thursday, August 5, 2010. Based on these results, the beach, which was posted as unsafe on August 4, 2010, is now deemed safe for bathing.
Beach water sampling at Station Park Beach, Municipality of Kincardine, show levels exceeding Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care standards for acceptable bacterial levels. The Grey Bruce Health Unit took samples on Wednesday, August 4, 2010. As a result, the area will be posted and remain posted until samples indicate that water is safe for bathing.
