Black Creek (Old Woman’s River), Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula, Posted Unsafe for BathingBeach water sampling at Black Creek (Old Woman’s River) Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula shows two consecutive samples exceeding Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care standards for acceptable bacterial levels. As a result, this area will be posted and remain posted, until two consecutive samples indicate that water is safe for swimming. The Medical Officer of Health advises bathers that high levels of bacteria in this water may pose a risk to their health. Advisory signs have been posted.
