Flu Shot at Grey Bruce Health Unit

Media are invited to attend a photo opportunity at the Grey Bruce Health Unit to highlight the importance of getting an annual flu shot. Andrea O'Donoughue and her twins, Dylan & Rohan of Owen Sound will attend. As a mother, O’Donoughue understands the importance of an annual flu shot for her family’s health.

A Public Health Nurse will be on hand to answer media questions with regard to the flu season and upcoming Community Flu Clinics. This event takes place at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 6, 2006 at the Grey Bruce Health Unit, 3^rd Floor Boardroom, 920 1^st Avenue West, Owen Sound.

Owen Sound and area residents can attend free walk-in Community Flu Clinics on Thursday, November 16, at the Royal Canadian Legion, 1450 2^nd Ave. West, Owen Sound, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. or Monday, December 4, at O.S.C.V.I. 1550 8^th St. East, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Free flu vaccine is also available from Public Health by appointment.
