Personal Protective Equipment Video Release

Owen Sound– The release of a new video by the Grey Bruce Health Unit speaks to recommendations contained in the Justice Archie Campbell final report on Toronto’s 2003 SARS outbreak. Personal Protective Equipment is a four-minute video demonstrating the proper procedure for individuals safely donning and removing protective gown, mask, eyewear and gloves. The video illustrates best practice use of personal protective equipment for all health care professionals.

Richard Thomas Communications of Owen Sound produced the video. In addition to local distribution, it will be available through the Health Unit’s website and for sale in a DVD format.  Media are invited to a launch for this new video, which will include a presentation of copies to Huronia Practitioners of Infection Control:
