Provision of Public Health Services
It will be business as usual at the Grey Bruce Health Unit in the event members of OPSEU Local 276 - Clerical Support move forward with a job action. A plan for the provision of public health services allows for delivery of all mandated and essential health protection activities such as communicable disease and health hazard protection. There may be limited reductions in delivery of some low-risk health promotion programs and activities.
Staff will be available to offer services to the public. Public health professional staff will still work with building contractors to provide Land Use Permits and will work with the agents to assist real estate file searches. Registered Nurses will provide vaccine and immunization monitoring.
