Celebrate International Youth Day – August 12

Join celebrations for International Youth Day as the Owen Sound Youth Coalition (OSYC) hosts The Bayshore Bash! at the Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound, Tuesday, August 12, from 5:00 until 11:00 p.m. This outdoor event showcases local youth talent with a broad range of musical performances including acoustic guitar, solo vocals, a variety of bands as well as a barbecue and giveaways. Admission is by donation.

International Youth Day provides opportunities to recognize the potential of youth, to celebrate their achievements and to engage youth in opportunities for decision making within their communities. OSYC are local youth working alongside community stakeholders with the shared goal to build assets for and promote the healthy development of our community’s youth. 

The coalition encourages community members of all ages to come out and enjoy the evening. The OSYC would like to thank the City of Owen Sound for their commitment to youth as shown by their generous support and sponsorship for this event.
