Lonely Island Beach, Oliphant, Municipality of South Bruce Peninsula, is now Safe for Bathing
Municipality of South Bruce Peninsula –Water sample results taken by the Grey Bruce Health Unit at Lonely Island Beach (Oliphant) shows two consecutive sets of samples with acceptable bacterial levels within Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care standards. Based on these results, the Beach which was posted as unsafe on July 30, 2009 is now deemed safe for bathing.
