Butt Out and Get Fit

Look for the Big Cigarette from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, February 2, in the parking lot of Velocity Sports and the Brick, 1125 8^th St. East, Owen Sound. The giant, inflatable cigarette supports the Driven to Quit Challenge. Anyone who may have made a New Year’s resolution to quit smoking but have found it difficult to follow through can receive advice and resources on smoking cessation. There is information on the Driven to Quit Challenge; how to win exciting prizes such as a brand new car, vacation packages, cash and more just by quitting smoking!

Exercise has proven to help people successfully quit smoking. The Grey Bruce Health Unit and Velocity Sports will be offering a free trial training sessions to anyone who comes out as well as providing advice on how exercise might be the key to quitting!

We have information for all age groups, so don’t miss this excellent opportunity.
