Guys Caring for Kids Photo Contest
Just in time for Father’s Day, the third annual Guys Caring for Kids Photo Contest is now accepting submissions. The Photo Contest challenges individuals of all ages to capture the visual stories of men in caring relationships with children. Although men are getting much more involved in lives of children as fathers, uncles, grandfathers, friends, coaches and neighbours, the majority of images with children still features females. To increase the profile of the male role model in society, several organizations in Grey Bruce have come together to celebrate and encourage men’s roles in children’s lives.
Submissions may include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
Prizes will be awarded for the winning submissions. Judged by award winning photographer James Masters, the 2011 contest featured a variety of entries that have been on display throughout Grey Bruce.
