School and Community Clinics

The Grey Bruce Health Unit offers immunization clinics in school settings and at three community clinic locations. Keeping our rates of immunization high helps to ensure that our communities are protected against vaccine preventable diseases like whooping cough, hepatitis B, tetanus and measles.

High School Clinics

Adacel (diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis) vaccine is offered to eligible students each year.
Hepatitis B vaccine is available free to school-aged students.
MMR vaccine is available to students who require this vaccination.
Meningitis vaccine is available to high school students from 15 to 19 years of age.

Grade 7 School Clinics

All grade 7 students will be offered the 2-dose Hepatitis B vaccine series over the school year.
Hep B Vaccine Consent form – for elementary students
A Meningitis vaccine that protects against 4 serotypes of invasive meningococcal disease is also available to grade 7 students at school clinics during the school year.

Grade 8 School Clinics

All grade 8 female students will be offered the 3-dose Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine over the school year.
