Vaccines are the best way to prevent certain diseases. Today’s vaccines are very safe and effective. Many myths about vaccine safety exist, but parents can be assured that having their children immunized is the right decision!

Recommended routine childhood vaccinations begin when an infant is 2 months of age. Please call the Health Unit, Vaccine Preventable Diseases Team if you have questions regarding vaccines or immunization schedules.
