• PLAY in Bruce Grey encourages all residents to join the physical activity movement and make physical activity an important part of every day.
   
• In 2006-2007 a partnership was formed by 17 municipalities, the County Of Bruce and the Grey Bruce Health Unit.
   
• Funding was received from the Ministry of Health Promotion under the Active 2010 Strategy to develop a physical strategy for Bruce Grey.
   
• The physical activity strategy was launched on June 13, 2007 with municipalities signing a PLAY Charter and affirming their commitment to become a “play friendly” community.
   
• The result is a physical activity strategy entitled PLAY in Bruce Grey.
   
• Community Actions Networks (CAN) will be forming in municipalities to implement the strategy.
   
• Residents of Bruce Grey are encouraged to PLAY your way, every day to realize the health benefits of physical activity.
   
• The overall goal is to increase by 10% the number of residents of Bruce Grey who are physically active by 2010.
