Education and Community SupportPresentations to community groups are available by staff who are trained to deal with the sensitive nature of sexual health issues. Comfort in groups is emphasized to encourage participation. There are many topics available. These include birth control methods, reducing your risk of STIs, communication and decision making, sexual orientation, relationships, sexuality and the physically challenged and strategies to reduce occupational risks of disease transmission. Staff working in these programs are available to provide expert resources to our community. We are prepared to work with employers who wish to develop workplace policies related to AIDS and HIV infection. We are also available to assist in the development of community-based support groups like PFLAG and AIDS committee. For more information, see the fact sheets:
