Calculating the Business Case
The way to give more substance to your presentation or proposal to start a Comprehensive Workplace Health Program is by building your own business case.
Using data from within your organization such as:
can be translated into dollar amounts or loss of revenue.
This type of evidence can illustrate to senior managers the link between employee health and well-being and their bottom line.
The figures from the business case also serve as the baseline data to compare results of future evaluations, should your workplace decide to move forward with the Workplace Health Program.
