WHAT |
A workshop is offered for frontline health care workers on the topic
“Heightening Our Sensitivity and Awareness: Understanding Older
Adults’ Substance Use and Misuse”.

SPEAKERS |
Margaret Flower is
the clinical co-ordinator for OPUS 55 programs at the Centre for
Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto. She presents both nationally and
internationally on the needs, services and challenges of responding to
older persons.
Randi Fine has
worked with seniors for many years. Fine was the executive director of
the Self-Help Resource Centre, the Family Caregivers’ Support Network
and the Ontario Self-Help Network. Currently, she is the founding
executive director of the Older Persons’ Mental Health and Addictions
Network in Ontario.
