From Marijuana to Methamphetamine - Straight Talk About Illicit Drug Use
An up-coming workshop answers the question what is really happening with drug use in our community. The Focus Group on Substance Abuse and Grey Bruce Health Unit present the workshop “From Marijuana to Methamphetamine – Straight Talk about Illicit Drug Use”, November 30 at the Chesley Community Centre. Tom Walker, Supervisor for Breakaway Family and Youth Initiative, Toronto and Brad Durfy, Unit Commander, Drug Enforcement Section, London OPP are the key presenters. Tom Walker will be speaking about drug use in the 21st century. How do you engage youth/adults into discussion? Brad Durfy will provide an overview of the local drug use scene.
Time: Wednesday, November 30, 2005 Location: Chesley Community Centre -129 4th Avenue South East Interview Times: Tom Walker will be available for interviews at 8:30 a.m. Brad Durfy will be available for interviews at 11:00 a.m. Workshop Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
