O.S.C.V.I. Influenza Clinic

Eight hundred five people received influenza vaccinations at a Public Health clinic at O.S.C.V.I. in Owen Sound Tuesday, November 7, 2007. This is a significant increase from last year’s clinic when 374 people were immunized.

Additional walk-in influenza vaccination clinics are scheduled this week for Georgian Bay Secondary School, Meaford on Wednesday, Nov. 7; and at Peninsula Shores District School, Wiarton on Thursday, Nov. 8. All clinics are from 4-8 p.m. No appointments needed.

Additional walk-in clinics are scheduled across Grey and Bruce throughout November

(see attachment). Publicly funded influenza shots are also available by appointment at Public Health in Owen Sound and at the Plex in Port Elgin, call 519-376-9420, or at Public Health in Walkerton, call 519-881-1920.
