Bruce Boilermakers Supports Eat and Learn
The Bruce Society of Boilermakers supports better nutrition for better education. The boilermakers presented a cheque for $3035 to the Grey Bruce Eat and Learn program Thursday, February 7, in Port Elgin. Based on an average of .75 to .85 cents a meal for a student attending a school nutrition program this donation makes a significant impact to Eat and Learn.
The money was raised by the Bruce A Restart trades through a raffle of large-screen TV and Home Theatre system from Square Deal Neil’s in Southampton.
Grey Bruce Eat and Learn school nutrition programs are in over 60 schools in Grey Bruce offering healthy food choices to hungry students.
