Bike/Walk to Work Challenge

It is time again for the Bike/Walk to Work Challenge; June 1 - 26, 2009. The Challenge has been an annual event in area workplaces for the past six years. Each of the over 300 participating local workplace takes on their own event for Bike/Walk to Work month.

The benefits of biking or walking to work, for a minimum of 15 minutes a day, include stronger muscles and bones and greater flexibility. Choosing to walk or bike to work supports our environment by improving of air quality as we burn less fossil fuel. You also save money on gas and decrease car maintenance.
