Dr. Shiv Grewal Appointed Associate Medical Officer of Health

OWEN SOUND – Dr. Hazel Lynn, Medical Officer of Health is pleased to announce provincial confirmation of the appointment of Dr. Shiv Grewal, BSc, MD, CCFP, MPH as Associate Medical Officer of Health for the Grey Bruce Health Unit effective immediately.  Dr. Grewal has an active family practice in Wiarton and runs weekly clinics at Cape Croker First Nations.  He has extensive experience in Public Health having worked in communities in Northern and Artic Canada and has traveled as an international volunteer to Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Cambodia.

            Dr. Grewal will be working from Site 1 at the Health Unit (920 First Ave. W. Owen Sound) on a regular basis Monday and Wednesday afternoons. He will primarily deal within the infection control, pandemic and emergency planning programs. Dr. Grewal is available by telephone at extension 241 or s.grewal@publichealthgreybruce.on.ca.
