Turn off the Screens Events – April 18 to 22

The third annual Turn off the Screens Challenge takes place from April 18 to 22 in Grey-Bruce.   More than 34 schools are involved, an increase over last year.

Students, along with their families, are encouraged to participate in alternative activities and just say ‘No’ to screen time.  Instead of turning on the television, computer or video game, turn instead to physical activity.   A variety of activities have been planned in Grey-Bruce for Turn off the Screens Week (attached).

For more information or to acquire a log form, look under Physical Activity on the Public Health website at www.publichealthgreybruce.on.ca.   Forms can also be picked up at most schools and libraries in Grey-Bruce.
