David meets Goliath in the Bike/Walk Challenge
Size isn’t every thing. That’s what the staff of Jolley’s Alternative Wheels are out to prove by issuing a Challenge to City Hall during the week of Monday, May 30th to June 3rd. The staff of Jolley’s believe they can out-walk or out-bike the staff of City Hall for one week. With only eight employees, this definitely makes the staff of the bike shop David to the City’s Goliath.
The 3rd Annual Bike Walk to Work Challenge, launched on May 16th, runs until June 24th. It was created to offer commuters a way to incorporate physical activity into their busy work day by walking or biking to work or school. It’s also a chance to win great weekly and grand prizes. For each commute one way, participants enter their names in a weekly draw. The winners for week #1 of the Bike/Walk to work are:
Brent Jeffries, Fulford Hardware - 10 downtown shopping dollars Ruth Grahlman, Staples - The New Lighthearted Cookbook
