Nursing Students Learn About Public Health Opportunities

On the morning of October 19^th  fifteen first year students from Georgian College’s new Bachelor of Science in Nursing program will visit the Grey Bruce Health Unit. The students will tour the Health Unit and attend an information session to look at Public Health and the role of a Public Health Nurse.  The students will meet with local Public Health Nurses and hear about the projects they are involved with serving Grey and Bruce Counties.  The session will highlight opportunities available in the local area for the students in nursing and in the wider public health sector including public health inspectors.  Students will meet in the 3^rd Floor Boardroom at 10:00 a.m.
