Dine out to Donate

Dining out at Boston Pizza in Owen Sound helps contribute to local Eat and Learn programs. Ten percent of all food sales from 12-8 pm on Wednesday, March 12 go to Grey Bruce Eat and Learn School Nutrition Programs.

Every day, Eat and Learn helps over 4,500 students in over 60 schools across Grey Bruce by providing good nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks. It costs about 85 cents a day to serve breakfast to a child at a school program! Bev Gateman, Grey Bruce Eat and Learn School Nutrition Program Coordinator, says studies prove the link between good nutrition and learning.

Owen Sound Town Crier Drew Ferguson will announce the event. MPP Bill Murdoch will be on hand as a guest waiter/server at 12:30 pm. Have your lunch served by Bill! There will be a craft table for children and a draw for children to enter to win prizes.
