Canadian Community Health Survey Indicators 2013-14
This report presents a series of health indicators grouped by overarching concept: General Health, Chronic Conditions, Nutrition, Environmental Risk Factors, Risk Behaviours, Early Childhood, Contact with Medical Services, and Injuries and Injury Prevention. Annual estimates are presented for the Grey Bruce Health Unit (GBHU) catchment population aged 12 and over (or a more specific age group for selected indicators), and for Ontario.
Cancer in Grey Bruce: 2000 - 2009
Cancer is a disease that originates within the cells of the body. There are many types of cancers, but all of them feature cellular replication (cell division) that increases beyond what is considered normal (National Cancer Institute, 2009).
Grey Bruce Community Picture – 2014
The 2014 Supplement to the Grey Bruce Community Picture (2011) includes updates to the community profile, health status and health behaviours, and determinants of health sections. The purpose of the Grey Bruce Community Picture 2014 Supplement is to continue to inform the work of the Grey Bruce Healthy Communities Partnership. By highlighting the strengths and vulnerabilities of Grey Bruce the document can help to mobilize community partners around a common goal and inform local initiatives and the allocation of funds. The document is designed to support community partners and organizations in the preparation of grant proposals, and in identifying strategic and program priorities.
Unintentional Injuries in Grey Bruce 2000 to 2009
Unintentional injuries are a major public health issue for Grey and Bruce Counties. Within our community, the leading causes of injuries are falls, alcohol misuse, and motor vehicle traffic crashes. Injuries especially impact our children, youth and older adults. They are a leading cause of hospitalization and place great stress on our emergency departments. We must address the factors that influence injury rates within our community.

Grey Bruce Oral Health Status Report 2005-2010
Report provides a snapshot of the oral health of the residents of Grey and Bruce Counties over the past five years. Through the compilation of information from a number of sources, the report presents some of the known oral health issues within various groups including age groups and First Nations. This report also describes the oral health programs offered by the Grey Bruce Health Unit.
