Food Safety Inspection Disclosure

Effective January 1, 2015 the online food safety inspection disclosure system will be available to members of the public.

The Grey Bruce Health Unit reports the following closures, orders or fines under the Food Premises Regulation 562 of the Health Protection and Promotion Act. This list is updated monthly.

The Grey Bruce Health Unit implemented the Food Premises Disclosure System to provide public access to information relating to closures, orders or charges laid by Grey Bruce Health Unit Public Health Inspectors. This information is intended to provide the community with information about the food safety status of local premises. Note: Enforcement activities will remain on the website for a period of 3 months, from the time of the offence. Offence details represent the condition of the food premises at the time of the inspection only and do not guarantee the condition of the food premises at any other time. Persons charged with offences under the Health Protection and Promotion Act (HPPA) have the option of pleading guilty or not guilty in a court of law. Orders under the HPPA may also be appealed by the recipient of the Order.
