Healthy Beginnings, a Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program

Having a healthy baby starts with having a healthy pregnancy!

Healthy Beginnings is a free group that meets twice a month in Owen Sound and Hanover. Healthy Beginnings groups meet once a month in Port Elgin, Wiarton, and Kincardine. Join pregnant women and new parents in a supportive group environment to cook together, share experiences, and receive answers to your questions & concerns. Healthy Beginnings is a Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada, in agreement with the Province of Ontario, and hosted in Grey and Bruce Counties by Keystone Child, Youth & Family Services, and in Partnership with the Grey Bruce Health Unit.

If you are pregnant and have limited support, money is tight, or life is extra stressful, then this group may be for you! You must attend Healthy Beginnings before your baby is born and can stay in the program until your baby is 6 months old.
