There are many different reasons to get tested for Sexual Transmitted Infections (STIs) and these Top Ten are just some of the common examples.  Locally in Grey Bruce, our STI rates for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea are highest among 15-29 year olds.  With these two STIs, individuals can show no signs or symptoms and therefore may not even know that they have an infection.  Overall, STI testing is easy and is the best option for anyone having sex!

For testing and treatment see your health care provider. There are also limited confidential services available through the Grey Bruce Health Unit if you do not have a health care provider. Please phone 519-376-9420 or 1-800-263-3456 ext. 1256 to find out more about services in the area.
