Public Assistance Request – Dog Bite – Municipality of Kincardine

Grey Bruce Public Health is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident that occurred Sunday, July 27, 2025, in the Municipality of Kincardine.

Just before 8:00 a.m., an individual was bitten while running along Boiler Beach Road.

The dog that bit the individual is described as a large-sized, tan colour dog. The dog was with a man wearing a ball cap, white shirt, and khaki shorts.

Staff at Grey Bruce Public Health need to confirm the dog involved in this biting incident is not infectious with rabies.

By verifying the health of the dog, the victim can avoid receiving the post-exposure rabies treatment.
