Grey Bruce Public Health is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident that occurred Sunday, August 3, 2025, in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
At approximately 5:00 p.m., an individual was bitten outside the Circle K convenience store in Sauble Beach.
The dog that bit the individual is described as a medium-sized, brown and white dog, wearing a plain collar. It was reportedly tied up outside the Circle K convenience store.
Staff at Grey Bruce Public Health need to confirm the dog involved in this biting incident is not infectious with rabies.
By verifying the health of the dog, the victim can avoid receiving the post-exposure rabies treatment.
