Being a parent can be one of the most rewarding experiences of a lifetime.  Many parents prepare themselves for their new parenting role.  However, they discover that parenthood is quite different from the experience they expected.

 

Many parents find the transition and adjustment to parenthood to be challenging new role.  The Grey Bruce Health Unit offers various ways for new parents to get the information and support they need.

 

 Parenting Resources: 

 

Baby Groups offer a place for parents to drop in and receive support, information and education on caring for their newborn. 

 

  • Share your experiences with other new moms and dads. 
  • Common topics include attachment, dental health, etc.
