Health unit disavows new Motherisk website

The Grey Bruce Health Unit would like to advise that the website ‘Motherisk’, previously operated by The Hospital for Sick Children (Sick Kids), has been taken over by a third party and contains advice that in no way reflects the opinions of the health unit. Many low-income seniors face challenges accessing regular dental care because they cannot afford it, impacting their overall well-being. Public Assistance Request Dog Biting Incident

The Grey Bruce Health Unit is seeking assistance from the public in finding the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident that occurred in Durham, Ontario. On Wednesday November 20, 2019, between 8:00 am and 9:00 am, a man was bitten by a medium sized white poodle. The man was walking with his own dog at a park located off South Street West and Countess Street South when a woman walking with the poodle and another dog, possibly a husky mixed breed, intercepted the walk.
