Grey Bruce Public Health, in consultation with the City of Owen Sound, has posted Kelso Beach at Nawash Park as unsafe for swimming after routine water-sampling results showed bacterial levels exceeding Ontario Ministry of Health standards.

Grey Bruce Public Health is advising the public that test results from water samples taken Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Kincardine’s Station Beach and Point Clark Beach show bacterial levels have returned to within the guidelines established by Ontario’s Ministry of Health as safe for swimming/bathing.
