Public Advisory

There is a Provincial Order in place, effective October 9th, 2020, mandating the use of face coverings in all public indoor settings across the province, such as businesses, facilities and workplaces, with limited exemptions.  For details, visit the Face Masks and Face Coverings in Ontario. Campaign “Attacks” Medication Misuse

The community is invited to clean out their medicine cabinets and drop off old or unused prescription and over-the-counter medication at the Rexall Pharma Plus in downtown Owen Sound from September 24 - 30. Everyone who drops off medication will receive a voucher for a free ticket, while supplies last, for any Wednesday evening Owen Sound Attack regular season game.

At an open meeting of the Board of Health for the Grey Bruce Health Unit today, the Board passed a motion to appoint Dr. Hazel Lynn as Acting Medical Officer of Health for the Grey Bruce Health Unit. The appointment is effective immediately for a term of less than six months.
