There is a Provincial Order in place, effective October 9th, 2020, mandating the use of face coverings in all public indoor settings across the province, such as businesses, facilities and workplaces, with limited exemptions.  For details, visit the Face Masks and Face Coverings in Ontario. Public Assistance Request Dog Biting Incident

The Grey Bruce Health Unit is seeking assistance from the public in finding the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident that occurred in Teeswater, Ontario. On Saturday, February 22, 2020, between 3:40 - 4:30pm, a woman was bitten by a large black lab named Marley. The incident occurred at Hillcrest Street West and Andrew Street. The dog was in the care of a man when it jumped up and bit the woman.

An individual visiting Grey Bruce tested negative for the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) related to the outbreak in Wuhan, China. This person presented at a Grey Bruce Health Services hospital emergency room with mild respiratory symptoms and had identified recent travel history to an affected region. Negative test results were received today from the Public Health Ontario Lab and confirmed by a second test at the National Microbiology Lab in Winnipeg.
