Public Assistance Request Dog Bite

The Grey Bruce Health Unit is seeking assistance from the public in finding the owner of two dogs involved in a biting incident that occurred in Kincardine on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at approximately 11:15 a.m. The incident occurred south of the Kincardine Cemetery, close to the trail leading to the Kindog Park (Kincardine’s off-leash dog park). The dogs are described as medium, unknown breed, with short black hair. The person with the dogs had long curly red hair and drove a grey/silver SUV style vehicle.

Staff of the Grey Bruce Health Unit need to confirm the dogs are not infectious with rabies. By verifying the health of the dogs, the victim can avoid receiving the post-exposure rabies treatment. If you have any information related to this incident, please contact the Grey Bruce Health Unit at 519-376-9420 ext. 1240.
