Public Advisory:  Effective Thursday, January 14, 2021at 12:01 a.m., the government is issuing a stay-at-home order requiring everyone to remain at home with exceptions for essential purposes, such as going to the grocery store or pharmacy, accessing health care services, for exercise or for essential work.  A State of Emergency has been declared in Ontario. Bullying can be defined as repeated and systematic harassment and attacks on others. Bullying can be perpetrated by individuals or groups. Bullying takes many forms, and can include may different behaviours, such as:

  • physical violence and attacks
  • verbal taunts, name-calling and put-downs
  • threats and intimidation
  • extortion or stealing of money and possessions
  • exclusion from the peer group

 

Racially or ethnically-based verbal abuse and gender-based put-downs are also found in the bullying situation.  http://www.lfcc.on.ca/bully.htm
